Pretty Polishes: Deborah Lippmann's Jewel Heist Mani

Hey Gals!  Just as I was swearing off buying any more new polishes, beautybar tempted me with a $15 credit.. so I caved and bought a couple of beauties from Deborah Lippmann's Jewel Heist collection.

But these aren't just any polishes, they are so beautiful and I've had my eye on them ever since pinning them way back over the summer.. so really I like to think that I actually had a lot of restraint holding off so long in purchasing AND I didn't even buy the whole collection!  Besides, after testing them out, I have no regrets - these polishes really are that special!  After adding and removing each polish from the collection to and from my cart about 7 times, I finally settled on Rolling in the Deep, a luscious inky dark blue, with subtle shimmery flecks, the complementary glitter, Va Va Voom, a glitzy navy holographic glitter, and finally, Glitter and Be Gay, a gold holographic glitter that is so much more than any description I could possibly provide!  It has flecks of purple and green, but also picks up on the colors of the base coat you use.  And the holographic nature of these glitters really make them stand out from just your normal run of the mill glitter polish - when the light catches, it's gorgeous and I find myself staring at my hands all day long!

Of course I couldn't decide which to try first, so I tried them all - clearly restraint has never been my strong suit!  I started with 2 coats of Rolling in the Deep, and honestly this color is pretty amazing all on it's own! The application was fantastic also - it went on very smooth and it was so pigmented I almost didn't need the second coat.  Then, in order to try out both glitters, I decided to use Glitter and Be Gay as an accent nail on my ring fingers, and then Va Va Voom on the rest.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves - but these are definitely going to be in heavy rotation, especially during the holidays.  So if you are looking to splurge just a little bit, go ahead and indulge in one (or all!) of these!  Or if you have a bit more restraint than me, add them to your holiday wish list - what a great stocking stuffer!

And full on glitz - can't get enough of that holo effect!
And as an added bonus, is currently offering a free Deborah Lippmann polish in Private Dancer with a purchase of just $10!

So tell us, which of these is your favorite?  If I had to chose, I think Glitter and Be Gay would be my standout,  though I really am head over heels for all of these gals - so festive and glitzy and fun!

Holiday ready!
