Favorite DIY Wine Cork Projects

Hey Gals! It's no secret that we love a good craft project, so when our friends at Evite recently featured some easy DIY projects using leftover wine corks, we knew we had found our next crafting endeavor! Then once we realized that they had collaborated with one of our go-to wines, Cavit, we were doubly hooked and bookmarked immediately!

We're obviously no strangers to going through a bottle of wine or two, so we love the idea of repurposing the corks in inventive ways. Now that B has officially moved into her new apartment, we both have been brainstorming ways that she can fill up all of that extra space she's gained. When we saw these awesome cork letters, we knew this would be the perfect way for her to add a cute personal touch to her new living space. I mean how adorable would these be with her and T's initials?!

Meanwhile, what caught M's eye were these glitzy bottle stoppers. On the rare occasion that a bottle goes unfinished, we love being able to reseal it these geode corks - they are total show stoppers and make a gorgeous statement on your home bar or table.

And we love that this is another easy peasy DIY - all you need is some hot glue and the embellishment of your choice (though we're really digging these geodes -so glitzy and glamorous!)

We also really loved the idea of using the corks as place card holders. We're picturing these at an intimate and rustic wedding, though to be honest, we'll probably be "borrowing" this idea at our next dinner party!

We only wish we had been creative enough to think of these a couple years back when M hosted a wine and chocolate themed bridal shower - how perfect would this candle centerpiece have been?!

But luckily there's always another party to plan, and always another project to craft. And with B's craziness of moving into a new apartment and M always looking to find a second to indulge her creative juices once Little M is in bed, we love that Evite and Cavit have taken the guesswork out of these projects and given us a reason to open that second bottle of wine! Check out all of their Wine Cork DIY's ideas here.

And Cavit is giving you even more reason to stock up on your favorite varietals by offering up to a $24 rebate with this mail-in rebate HERE. We'll obviously be stocking up on plenty of Cavit's Pinot Grigio since it's a summer staple for the gals!
