July Monthly Cocktail Link Up + Passion Lemonade Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe

Happy Cocktail Link Up Day Gals!! This is always our very favorite post to put together, and not only because it requires lots of cocktail sampling (though of course, we certainly don't mind that part of it!). This month's cocktail is inspired by a summer classic, the Arnold Palmer, though we had to put our sequiney touch on it, which means vodka and a little bit of fruit!

One of our favorite (non-alcoholic) versions of an Arnold Palmer is the Shaken Iced Passion Tango Tea Lemonade from Starbucks. And since we're no strangers to doctoring up our favorite Starbucks drinks, we figured why not do it up for for the summer season too!

To start, we brewed up some passion fruit iced tea - we like to drink this with or without alcohol, so we made a big batch, though feel free to make a single serving with just one tea bag. Our favorite is Tazo Passion Tea - it's impossible for your mouth not to water when it's brewing!

Next, add in your lemonade. We opted to go with Crystal Light to make it low cal, and found that it worked best with a 3 to 1 ratio of tea versus lemonade.

Then we filled a highball glass with ice, and added a shot of vodka.

Then top with your lemonade ice tea mixture, leaving a little room on the top.

Lastly, we add some seltzer to give it some fizz, which makes it even more refreshing.

Give a stir, and you're all set! This would also work great as a refreshing mocktail, especially for any mama's to be since the tea is caffeine free!

Now it's your turn! Join the party and link-up your favorite cocktail recipe - old or new! As always, we're not sticklers here, so feel free to take a little creative license - wine, beer, mocktails, glassware.. we love it all!
