Lust List: Everyday Dinnerware Favorites

Hey Gals! Recently I've been on the hunt for a new set of everyday dinnerware. While I love the current set we have, it's definitely endured plenty of wear and tear over the past couple of years, and it seems like every plate and bowl has some sort of chip or ding. So what does that mean!? Time to get an updated set.. which means lots and lots of online window shopping!
Below are a bunch of my favorites, but I can't seem to narrow down which direction I want to go in. I keep gravitating towards gorgeous sets of golden and gilded plates, but on the other hand, there's something to be said for a classic white set. I also love some of these crazy patterned sets I'm seeing out there, especially these great fall themed seasonal sets.

1. Crate and Barrel  // 2. Horchow // 3. Pottery Barn // 4. Horchow // 5. West Elm

 1. West Elm // 2. Pier 1 // 3. Pier 1 // 4. Z Gallerie // 5. West Elm

1. Pottery Barn // 2. Sur La Table // 3. Pottery Barn // 4. Pier 1 // 5. Pottery Barn

1. Pottery Barn // 2. Horchow // 3. Z Gallerie // 4. Pottery Barn // 5. World Market

So what's the verdict?! Which direction should I go in - which are your favorites?

  1. EEk, I feel like I love any dining collection. We have fiesta ware for our every day and then I have some Christmas china (and of course regular china). But i've been wanting a classic white set. I just feel like it's timeless you won't get tired of it. PLus you can always add other pieces here and there to spice it up if you'd like. But it's a great foundation. ?

  2. Absolutely in love with that gold! But I'd be worried about how it would hold up against washing. My dishes now have gold around the rim and it's started to come off from washing it every day :(

  5. All so pretty, but I'm a big fan of having a basic white set. I had one for years which had to finally go due to all the wear on it! Thanks for reminding me that I should prob buy one again!

  6. I have plain white every day plates and let me tell you why. First of all, white goes with everything!!!! So when you mix in your serving dishes and glasses...everything just goes without any effort!!! Secondly, pictures always look great against a white background. Not really what I was thinking about when I bought them, but it is the truth! Third - Classic white is just that...classic! They are timeless and will never go out of style.

  9. I'm definitely a plain kind of girl. Maybe this sounds weird, but I feel like food looks more appetizing when it is on a white plate. I know, I'm nuts. Those gold plates are so pretty. I never would have thought of something like that. Do they go with your kitchen? #2 and #4 of the gold are my vote! SO gorgeous!

  10. I'm a fan of simpler dishes like the all white sets although mine aren't white but I tend to stray away from patterns for dishes and no storage space for seasonal sets!
