Five on Friday: {September 11, 2015}

Hey Gals! Before we jump into our five of the week, we just wanted to pay remembrance to all those who lost loved ones on September 11th and pay our respect for a day we'll never forget.

And now onto happier times, this weekend is Little M's big train filled 2nd birthday party, so I'm currently knee deep in last minute party planning. I promise to share all of the details with you guys after the party, and be sure to follow us on Instagram for some party snaps on Sunday. Since it's been pretty much party, party, party planning all week for me, I thought I'd keep it brief today and do a round up of my 5 favorite photo's and memories of Little M from the past year - or at least try my best since I love them all (see last year's here!).

Charlie Brown

Little M made the perfect Charlie Brown last year since he was still almost completely bald! Plus, he had his little side kick Snoopy to keep him company while trick-or-treating. I'm still brainstorming what he'll be this year for Halloween, but I couldn't be happier with how last year's costume came out!

Not So Nice

This picture absolutely cracks me up when compared with the same one from the prior year - what a difference a year makes!! I was so excited to take the picture again this year when I realized we had a similar onesie from the year before - little did I know that Little M was NOT on board with this picture reboot - haha!

Class Picture Day

I was dead against getting one of those huge (and overpriced!) picture bundles that are offered at Little M's school - but of course that all went out the window when I saw the adorable proofs! And for fun, I did a little collage with myself and my mom, and I can't believe how alike we all look. I love seeing the genes carry through from generation to generation.

My Little Picky Eater

While this is clearly not a favorite moment of mine, that little sad face is just too much for me to handle, plus this pretty much perfectly sums up the past year. He hates eating and it's a constantly battle on a daily basis - he's lucky he's so cute!

Beach Days

This summer we were lucky enough to get to the shore a couple times this summer and Little M was completely in his element! He was happy to build countless sand castles, splash around in the water, and spend all day in the sun. This is one of my favorite pics from our beach visits and it's already making me sad that the summer (and our beach days) are over for this year.

Year 2 was definitely one for the books and I can't wait for another fun year ahead! Thanks for letting me take a little mommy trip down memory lane and stay tuned for lots of fun party details to come!

Cheers to April, AmandaJennieKarliClare, Rebecca, Katie, Heather, Annie, and Tif for hosting today's link-ups!
