December Cocktail Link Up + Holiday Bubbly Recipe

We're all good friends around these parts (right? right.) so in full disclosure - we're totally aware that we're really pushing the boundaries of the definition of "cocktail" with this one.

After all, can something be considered a cocktail if there is only one liquid in the glass? But on the other hand...

this Holiday Bubbly is a delightfully festive, cheerful, refreshing sip. It's basically exactly what Santa would pour himself after a long Christmas Eve of delivering presents all over the world (because you know those cookies and milk just aren't cutting it)!

Entertaining is a huge job at any time of year, but it feels especially daunting over the holidays when there is just so much to do and you feel like you're being pulled in a million different directions. That's why we like to turn to this "cocktail" for our holiday fiestas - it has the colors and textures of Christmas, without overcomplicating the mixing and prep time (also, is there any beverage more festive than prosecco? This bubbly is a superstar in its own right!). Just keep some pomegranate seeds and rosemary sprigs on hand to toss into a glass of prosecco, and you're good to go!

Holiday Bubbly

* Rosemary sprig

* Fill your flute with a sprig of rosemary and pomegranate seeds.

Now it's your turn! Join the party and link-up your favorite cocktail recipe - old or new! As always, we're not sticklers here, so feel free to take a little creative license - wine, beer, mocktails, glassware.. we love it all!
