February Cocktail Link-Up + Black & White Cookie Martini Recipe

Hey Gals! It's our favorite day of the month - cocktail link-up day!

While we decided to lighten things up for the new year, February is basically the unofficial month of chocolate, so we're going full-on indulgent with this one.
And seeing as we are one part New Yorker (B) and one part former New Yorker (M), we decided to honor a classic New York dessert with our Black and White Cookie Martini Recipe.
It's basically dessert in a glass, and perfect for those times when you can't decide between chocolate and vanilla.
First start off with crushing up some of your favorite cookies so you can properly accessorize the rim of your glass -
Just dip your glass in a little chocolate syrup, then dip in the cookies

Next, fill-up your martini shaker with ice and add: 2.5 oz of cake flavored vodka, 1.5 oz of chocolate liqueur, and a splash of Rum Chata
Be careful not to overdo it on the Rum Chata, since the flavor can easily overtake the whole cocktail - just a splash adds the delicious creaminess we're looking for

Then give a couple shakes, pour into your martini glass and enjoy your boozy black & white cookie in a glass!

Cheers Gals!

Black and White Cookie Martini Recipe:
  • 2.5 oz Vanilla Cake Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Chocolate Liqueur
  • Splash of Rum Chata
Combine all ingredients in a martini shaker, over ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a martini glass - and if you're feeling fancy, line the rim of the glass with some crushed up black and white cookies.

Now it's your turn! Join the party and link-up your favorite cocktail recipe - old or new! As always, we're not sticklers here, so feel free to take a little creative license - wine, beer, mocktails, glassware.. we love it all!
