Wanderlust Wednesday: Our Vacation is Booked!

I'm one of those people who gets veeeeeeery antsy when I don't have a future vacation on my calendar, so I'm thrilled that T and I booked our big annual vacation earlier this week! We're heading to...

Disney World!!!

I'm totally excited to embrace my inner child and fully enjoy the Disney magic. T hasn't been there since he was a teenager and it's been about 7 years since I was last in Orlando, so it will be really cool to experience this together. Our official Magical Vacation Planner took care of all of the logistics (and it was free to work with her, I highly recommend it!) so now we can concentrate on the fun stuff like deciding which rides and restaurants are at the top of our list. Also, I'm super psyched that we'll be there during the infamous Epcot Food & Wine Festival, which I've always wanted to experience!

I know that many of you are Disney pros (thanks to Kristen and Brenda for already providing me with some tips), so if you have any advice (particularly about going to Disney without children), please feel free to send it my way!

What's on your travel calendar for 2016?

  3. YAYYYY! When are you going to be here? We have season passes but they're up not long after Food & Wine starts this year. Epcot is by far the easiest park to have fun in without children but we always have a blast at all of them and we go at least once a month! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  12. So excited that you got your trip booked and jealous that you'll be going during the Food and Wine Festival! My only advice for going without kids is to enjoy your adult beverages and don't forget to be a kid yourselves! Jump in line and get your picture taken with your favorite Disney princess or Mickey and Minnie, that's what Disney is all about!

  13. Exciting! The Food & Wine Festival is the best time to go but the crowds/lines are insane. I would go to Epcot either very early in the day or very late. Have a blast!

  14. YAY, how exciting! Ryan and I went to the Disney at the end of February, and we had the time of our lives - we want to go back everyday! I did several posts recapping our trip if you want to check those out on my blog. Also, you MUST purchase the Disney MemoryMaker - I did a whole post on it, but the service is 100% worth it!
